Yoga. Something a lot of people are going on about. Something that makes a lot of people feel a lot better.

Yoga is from the root sanskrit word 'yuj' meaning 'unification'. Some say it could be as old as 6,000 years, so its been making people feel good for a long time! It differs to all other forms of exercise because as well as the physical side, it serves to nurture the soul; It connects us to ourselves and each other, bringing awareness, acceptance and transformation using breath and meditation. Quite simply, we cut out the outside world and start looking at the inside world we've been carrying around this whole time.

Regular practice gently strengthens the body, increases flexibility, improves balance, posture and aids overall bodily function, as well as calming and clearing the mind. Its benefits are far reaching and it is a boundless journey of self exploration.

Hatha yoga defines the physical practice of yoga - (though there's a lot more to Yoga than just this physical side)...  The main thing is that some of the happiest and most contented people on the planet do yoga; from every background imaginable. Why? Simple; Because Yoga makes you feel better.
